Dr. Laura Gibney graduated with an Honours degree in Dental Science from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, where she was awarded both the Entrance Exhibition and the Isabella Mulvany Exhibition Scholarships. As a resident House Officer at the Dublin Dental University Hospital, Laura gained invaluable experience across many areas of dentistry, including Accident and Emergency. She was subsequently awarded the Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry and Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, while working in a busy family dental clinic in Ireland.

Enjoying all areas of dentistry, Laura is known for her patience and gentle caring manner, especially when treating patients in pain or those who are extremely nervous. Her goal is to conserve dentition whenever possible and to provide high quality treatment for her patients. 

Laura is committed to furthering her knowledge through continuing education; she is an active member of The Esthetic Study Team and the Vancouver and District Dental Society Study Clubs. 

In her free time, Laura enjoys running, hiking, playing tennis and spending time with friends and family.
