Dr. Kearney grew up in West Van attending Westcot and Sentinel before going to UBC for biochemistry.

He graduated with a DDS from the University of Toronto in 1979 and came back to Vancouver.

Dr. Kearney and Dr. Katrin Turu started the West Van Dental Group together in 1983 . They were joined by Dr. Clive Jones and Dr. Mark Spurr. After many great years at WVDG it was time to reconnect with many of our former team in an updated location in Lynn Valley.

 As a ‘life long learner’, Dr. Kearney is a ‘dental nerd’ who wants the best for his patients.

Dr. Turu and Dr. Kearney have two adult children and in their spare time enjoy skiing, hiking and kayaking together. Dr. Kearney still plays hockey and tennis.
